The conference is sponsored by the University of Maryland Extension and local agribusiness firms and organizations for those involved in agriculture to meet and discuss common problems and hear from experts on the latest in agricultural production and management. Timely topics scheduled for the 2021 conference include: Local Soil Fertility Issues, Farm Stress Management, Fungicide and Growth Promoter Use in Soybeans, Palmer Amaranth Management, Updates on the MD Noxious Weed Law, and Updates on Local Fertility and Pest Issues. Participants will have the opportunity to visit sponsor exhibits and talk with company representatives. Attendance at this program will fulfill the requirements for Private Pesticide Applicator Recertification and Nutrient Management Voucher Training.
